Also, you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself and tell us why you are interested in becoming an AMPP instructor by recording a 2-minute video. To do this, you will need access to a video camera on your PC or you can upload a pre-recorded video created from another device.

Plural Component Instructor Requirements
Certification and Experience
- 5 years' work experience in the Industrial Protective Coatings Industry
- Must be currently active in the industry (within past 12 months) or have at least 10 years' experience with blasting and painting operations
- Must have hands-on knowledge of the tools (spray application systems; coating materials)
- Hold one or more of the following certifications:
- Protective Coating Specialist (PCS)
- Certified Coating Inspector CIP Level 2/PCI Level 2)
- CAS Full Status – Level II
- Marine Plural Component (C14)
Education
Must meet one of the following:
- High School Graduate/GED with an additional 10 years’ work experience
- 4 Year Diploma
- Professional Engineer
- Advanced Education (Master’s or PhD)

- 3 references from a past supervisor, current or former colleague, and/or personal friend (non-relative). Names, email, and phone number of references must be entered on the application.
